MMKC Awards Nomination Form Available!!

The NASPA Men and Masculinities Knowledge Community is now accepting nominations for its individual and programmatic awards! The Men and Masculinities Knowledge Community Awards recognize student affairs professionals’ exemplary contributions and service to the area of men’s gender identity development. The On Campus Service, Innovative Initiative, and Men’s Issues Newly Published Research Awards honor colleagues and programs that have
demonstrated commitment to social justice, students, outstanding leadership, and exceptional research.

This is your chance to nominate those individuals and programs that you feel are worthy of recognition! The deadline for all nominations is December 3, 2010. Please take a few minutes to nominate the colleagues and programs that deserve consideration for this honor. Full descriptions of the awards can be found in the attachment to this email or at:


Nomination/Application Process:
Individual nominations should be electronically submitted to Mari Knuth-Bouracee at mari.knuth@gmail.com. The nominations should include:
  • Award Nomination Form and all additional, required materials as outlined by the awards application including:
  • No more than three (3) letters of support describing the nominee's achievements,
  • If applicable, the nomination application may include a resume, program description and/or newly published research.

The Men and Masculinities Knowledge Community Leadership Team will review all completed nominations. Award recipients will be honored at the joint scholar lecture and award reception during the 2010 NASPA National Conference in Philadelphia.
